Japanese auto manufacturer Honda recently debuted a new technology partnership with Aha Radio at the 2012 North American Auto Show in Detroit and the 2012 Consumer Electronics Show. A record number of new vehicles have received top ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety this year, and Honda vehicles have made the biggest strides in becoming safer than ever.  Since 2006, the IIHS (a non-profit organization) has compiled an annual list of automobiles that meet its standards for "Top Safety Pick" awards. This year, the organization awarded the most safety awards ever; 115 vehicles received the designation, topping the previous record of 66 in last year's evaluations. Automakers are certainly stepping it up. It's difficult to win the awards, and all auto companies seek to achieve greatness. 69 cars, 38 SUVs, 5 minivans, and 3 pickup trucks earned the award this year.

Mistlin Honda is excited to announce that the Honda Jazz EV, known to car buyers in America as the Honda Fit, was showcased at this year's Los Angeles Auto Show. It's exciting because, even though we have several Honda Fit cars in stock on our Modesto, CA lot, no Fit hybrid or EVs exist in the U.S. yet. The unveiling of the Honda Jazz EV in LA could be a sign of things to come.
