"Venture into the unknown. Sometimes it's great not knowing where things lead. You could end up someplace amazing."1 These are just some of the gripping voice-over mantras featured on the new Honda Civic YouTube channel. This Bristish channel, located here (http://www.youtube.com/hondacivicUK), takes the user on an incredible, unique, and interactive journey (one might even call it an adventure) without ever leaving his/her computer.
The channel currently consists of five videos, each of which is more engaging than the last. They are as follows:
- The most modest of these videos features Mitsuru Kariya, a Civic development leader, speaking about new Honda Civic developments, as well as the model's important impact on the past and present auto industry.- The first interactive project asks users to discover the new Civic and to engage with it using fun graphics.
- The second project takes the user on a voyage across the globe. Users get to visit places like Alaskan ice caves, an underwater museum, and the Neon Museum in Las Vegas. All of these places are considered "Off the Grid" and viewers can see them in 360-degrees.
- The third project includes the "Experiment Game" which lets you create a Rube Goldberg machine on your own (through trial and error).
-The final project includes a "Happy" dog, which is one of our favorite scenes. Interactive, witty, and cute, this project shows users the amazing space available in the Civic.
