Mistlin Honda is excited to announce that the Honda Jazz EV, known to car buyers in America as the Honda Fit, was showcased at this year's Los Angeles Auto Show. It's exciting because, even though we have several Honda Fit cars in stock on our Modesto, CA lot, no Fit hybrid or EVs exist in the U.S. yet
The unveiling of the Honda Jazz EV in LA could be a sign of things to come. We can only hope we'll get the Fit EV here in California because the prototype is rumored to get 123 city-miles per charge and could be on U.S. car dealership lots by the middle of 2012. Three modes selectable in the car, Econ, Normal and Sport, which will change the driving experience and maximize efficiency of the car. Its 6.6 kW onboard 32 amp charger can keep the vehicle constantly moving - while a 240-volt charger can fully recharge Fit EV in three hours.
The even better news for California Honda fans is that Honda may begin leasing Fit EV models to customers in California and Oregon markets next summer. An expansion by early 2013 will bring the vehicle to six East Coast markets. If this happens, Mistlin Honda in Modesto, CA will be the first to let you know.Stay tuned to Mistlin Honda on 4754 McHenry Ave in Modesto, CA 95356 for all the latest Honda news.
